Our Creative Founders.
Founded by a team of marketers, creators, and engineers, Surge began as a talent agency focused on supporting underrepresented Asian American creators. After launching hundreds of campaigns for startups and nonprofits, we saw the inefficiencies in the system — slow timelines, guesswork campaigns, and lack of creator control. So we built a smarter engine that could move as fast as the internet itself.

Christopher Huang is the founder and CEO of Surge. He holds an MBA from Yale and previously worked at Boston Consulting Group, advising Fortune 500 clients on growth and innovation. Before launching Surge, he spent four years running a talent management agency representing top Asian American creators.

Chammy Choi is the co-founder of Surge. With experience at a leading global marketing consultancy and a master’s degree in communications from Seoul National University, she brings deep insight into audience behavior. As an influencer with over 2M followers, she bridges the gap between strategy and creator culture.

Jiayang Li

Jiayang Li is the CTO of Surge. A senior software engineer at Microsoft, he brings deep technical expertise in scalable systems and AI development. He’s also a creator with over 1.5M combined followers, giving him firsthand insight into the tools modern influencers actually need.
